First Impressions.....Turn Ons and Turn Offs by Sabrina Benett

Sexy to me might not be sexy to you.
In fact, so many elements go into making someone attractive. There's the superficial stuff, which we can poo poo as shallow, but really makes a difference when it comes to first impressions. And there are the more subtle elements that compliment an already attractive person.
And some people have very specific things that turn them off. For me, it's cologne.
Stinky
Maybe it stems from the time I doused myself with Yves St. Laurent's Paris at a department store, got a migraine and then puked my guts out all night. Since then, even a trace of most perfumes and colognes make me nauseous. Sometimes the things that turn us on are the exact opposite of what conventional consumerism would have us believe. Like body odor. Some ChickClickers told me a man's natural smell is a big turn-on. Well actually, one said, "Right Guard deodorant mixed with sweat-yum!" She also likes messed up teeth. Go figure.
Shallow
We all have little things that just ick us out. For Reshma it's men with long fingernails: "If I see white, I'm gone." For Bea, it's men with jewelry. These are the funny little things you talk about with your friends, the ones who recognize that you're not going to write a cool person off just because he wears a bracelet. He just doesn't have a head start in the race for your heart. It's only when you let these things turn you into a messed up, prejudiced person that you have a serious problem with superficiality.
