Impressions.....Turn Ons and Turn Offs by
Sabrina Benett
One guy I see around from time to time often wear socks with sandals
(and I think cologne, too!). But just the other day, I took another
look at him and it struck me: He's really cute. Like model boy cute.
And he's sweet too. It's important to take that second look and
give that second chance.
Deep
But when you're giving that second chance, don't sacrifice what's
truly important to you. And what's important to you can be seen
in the supposedly superficial turn offs.
Listen to Leanne:You know what I can't stand? Baseball caps. Just
hate 'em. Reminds me of all the lacrosse stick-carrying frat boys
who used to loiter on the walk that ran through my college campus.
They'd gawk at all the women and pretend to be hot shit. Makes my
skin crawl just thinking about it.
I'm sure Leanne wouldn't have turned down her husband's proposal
if he'd been wearing a Yankees cap. But she would have turned him
down if he gawked at her obnoxiously or wasn't a feminist at heart.
So the real turn off for Leanne is a jerky personality. This has
just happened to manifest itself inside the body of a baseball cap
wearer enough times to cause a turn off trigger. Makes sense, doesn't
it?
Dirty
Many a bad boy has turned me on. The slacker. The smoker. The quiet
mysterious one.
But hopefully we all know by now that silent doesn't equal smart.
And slacker doesn't mean consciously avoiding mainstream values.
And smoker means sick (eventually, anyway).
